GF-091 alkyd glyptal resin GF-091 is a solution in volatile organic solvents of glyptal resin with oil content 53% modified with dehydrated castor oil.
It is used in formulations of primers and enamels based on urea-formaldehyde, nitrocellulose resins (as a plasticizing film former) and also alkyd and perchlorovinyl resins (to improve adhesion). This resin can also be used as a intermediate in production of alkyd varnishes modified by radical polymerization principle.
