PolyChim -1000/22 resin

PolyChim -1000/22 unsaturated polyester resin is a styrene solution of orthophthalic polyester with an additive which significantly prolongs resin life after introduction of hardener (methyl ethyl ketone peroxide). It is used as a binder when repairing pipelines.

The resin is used in manufacturing glass-fiber reinforced plastic goods by technology involving heat treatment of the goods. At a room temperature the resin which contains 2% of the initiator (methyl ethyl ketone peroxide) remains flowing during 3 days; at 90-100°С hardening time is 50-60 minutes.

Safety measures:

The resin should be stored in tightly closed packaging protecting from moisture, indoors, protected from direct sunshine, at optimum temperature from - 5°С to + 25°С, at least 1 meter away from heaters.

Guaranteed storage life – 4 months from the date of production.
