PolyChim -1102/30 resin

 

   PolyChim -1102/30 resin is a solution of orthophthalic acid –based unsaturated polyester resin in styrene preliminary accelerated with cobalt and containing thixotropic agents. 

PolyChim -1102/30 resin is used in production of glass-fiber-reinforced plastics by contact molding and spray molding; it quickly penetrates the glass filler. It is good for forming vertical and inclined constructions. In the motor industry it is used for manufacturing vehicle bodies, cabins, protective wheelarch liners, fenders, styling parts, and also to carry out repair works.

   *The resin was hardened at 23°Ñ using methyl ethyl ketone peroxide (Butanox M 50) in the ratio of 1,5% as the initiator.

   ** The tests were carried out at the test centre laboratory of OAO “Objedineniye Stekloplastik”.  Accreditation  certificate No. UA6.001.T.48 of 12.03.2002 issued by Gosstandart
of Ukraine. 

 

Safety measures:

 

   The resin should be stored in tightly closed packaging protecting from moisture, indoors, protected from direct sunshine, at optimum temperature from - 5°Ñ to + 25°Ñ,  at least 1 meter away from heaters.
Guaranteed storage life – 4 months from the date of production.
