PolyChim -1000/21 resin PolyChim -1000/21 resin is a solution
of orthophthalic acid –based unsaturated polyester resin in styrene. The resin contains a small amount of polymerization inhibitor which reduces maximum self-heating temperature in the process of hardening and prevents cracking and distortion of large-size goods.
Hardening system – methyl ethyl ketone peroxide.
PolyChim 1000/21 resin is used in production by pultrusion method when enhanced life of the composition which contains methyl ethyl ketone peroxide hardener is the key requirement. *The resin was hardened at 23°С using methyl ethyl ketone peroxide hardener (ButanoxM 50) in the ratio of 1,5%.
Safety measures: The resin should be stored in tightly closed packaging protecting from moisture, indoors, protected from direct sunshine, at optimum temperature from - 5°С to + 25°С, at least 1 meter away from heaters.
Guaranteed storage life – 4 months from the date of production.
