Initiating systems for hardening unsaturated polyester resins

 

  Accelerators are used as a component in initiating systems for hardening unsaturated polyester resins to accelerate decomposition of organic peroxides at normal conditions.
  The following type accelerators are produced:
ОКМ-1 (С2+-0,6-1,2%)
     Cobalt octoate C0-1 (Со2+-5,8-6,2%) 

OKM-1 accelerator is a solution of cobalt 2-ethylhexanoate in styrene with stabilizers. It is used in combination with methyl ethyl ketone peroxide, cumene hydroperoxide, cyclohexanone peroxide.

Cobalt octoate C0-1 (Со2+-5,8-6,2%) accelerator is a solution of  cobalt 2-ethylhexanoate in toluene. It is used in combination with methyl ethyl ketone peroxide, cumene hydroperoxide, cyclohexanone peroxide.
